The maintenance of Secretariat EPABX (Coral IRIS IVDX Exchange) is managed by OCAC.

The maintenance of EPABX/RAX system came under the responsibility of E&IT Department from the month of April, ,2016 and OCAC has been assigned to the maintenance as per order no. 1209, dtd. 21.04.2016.

EPABX system- Model-Coral Tel-Iris-IVDX was installed by BSNL at Odisha Secretariat. having full capacity of 7000 extensions. Now the provision has been made for accommodating 2500 intercom telephone extensions. EPABX is serving to the office of the senior officials and ministers at Secretariat. Apart from all the departments in Secretariat, EPABX connectivity has been provided to Rajiv Bhawan, I & PR Department, Home (Elections) Department. Directorate of Treasuries  and Accounts, CM’s Grievance Cell, Raj Bhawan etc.

BSNL has been awarded for AMC service of the said system. BSNL is providing AMC service through its franchisee M/s Benzfab Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

The day-today maintenance of the Secretariat EPABX is managed by OCAC from EPABX control room, Secretariat.

OCAC has deployed a dedicated manpower at EPABX control room to look after the functioning of EPABX / RAX and the maintenance of the extensions, to  monitor complaint registration, timely redressal of complaints received from various departments. A log book for complaint booking, redressal, time taken for repair  etc. is maintained at EPABX control room.

The EPABX telephone no. 2322211 / 2323900 is used for this purpose and each Department contacts this no. for the complaint registration. In case of emergency, telephone no. 2392870 / 2323074 is used.
