The establishment of secretariat LAN (coined as SECLAN) for connecting the Computer Systems installed across and beyond the Secretariat is a great achievement for the state of Odisha. All the Departments & their sub-ordinate offices have been provided with SECLAN connectivity. Approximately 8500 nodes / work stations are thus connected in the Network with seamless data transfer with a speed of Internet bandwidth 0f 500 mbps caters to the need of officials under secretariat LAN.

Data transfer rate of 1 Gigabit flows between users of all departments & 10 gigabit from each Distribution point to IT Centre.

The Secretariat has been made a wi-fi environment. Visitors and guests are being provided with wi-fi connectivity for Internet access within the Secretariat. A redundant internet connectivity of 185 mbps is also available for secretariat user(s).
