Procurement of 15000 Laptops under “Biju Yuba SashaktikaranaYojana”

• OCAC has been involved in Procurement of 15000 laptops per year under “Biju Yuba SashaktikaranaYojana” of State Youth Policy formulated by Govt. of Odisha,for Higher Education Department since 2013-14.
• These laptops are distributed to the meritorious students at 30 Nodal Colleges of Higher Education Department at District level. The list of students also gets prepared by Higher Education Department.
• Procurement of 15000 Laptops were done for the year 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18and 2018-19 through open and transparent tender process,by inviting bids from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Laptops.The Laptops weredelivered at the Nodal Colleges of Higher Education Department at District level after 100% verification at OCAC.
• Nodal Colleges of Higher Education Department distributes the laptops to meritorious students as per list prepared by their Department..
• One year Carry-in Warranty support for 15000 latops is provided through district level Service Centres of the selectedOEM of the respective year.
• For year 2019-20 open Tender has been floated and corrigendum has also been published after pre-bid meeting.
